Taron Ragan is a husband, son, brother, author, TEDx Speaker, CPA, and Corporate Finance leader with experience working for Microsoft and Deloitte on a mission to empower the next generation of leaders to become unstoppable in business and in life. Taron was born on March 21, 1997 and grew up in Fort Valley, GA. He rose to success through many obstacles including losing his father to murder at the age of 12, the deaths of his younger brother, grandmother, and other family members, being raised by a single mother, financial challenges, rejections, homelessness and living in a hotel while pursing becoming a first-generation college graduate, and many other obstacles along the way. Taron has been featured in various media outlets including the the Atlanta Business Chronicle, Cobb Business Journal, and the Marietta Daily Journal. He has impacted thousands of individuals belonging to organizations ranging from Fortune 100 to middle schools and would like to make an impact at your organization next.
Taron has overcome adversity including the death of a younger sibling, homelessness and living in a hotel as a college student, and numerous other obstacles to get to where he is today. He uses his ability as a motivational speaker to teach others how he was able to overcome the adversity and arms them with a toolkit of mechanisms that can be used to become more resilient.
Taron teaches students how he went from numerous rejections and adversity as a college student to working in his dream company and in his dream role. He equips them with skills such as; crafting your resume, interview skills, connecting with the right people, and identifying your dream company.
